Ethics of Stem Cell Research
Embryonic stem cells are pluripotent cells that are able to grow into all of the many cell types that are found in adult organisms. These stem cells are isolated from embryos at the blastocyst stage. There is a great deal of social concern surrounding the use of human embryos for scientific research
