Dr Van Eenennaam wins two awards at the 2021 BIF symposium
During this years annual research symposium in Des Moines, Iowa, the Beef Improvement Federation (BIF) presented Dr. Alison Van Eenennaam with the BIF Pioneer Award.
The Pioneer Award recognizes individuals who have made lasting contributions to the improvement of beef cattle, honoring those who have had a major role in acceptance of performance reporting and documentation as the primary means to make genetic change in beef cattle.
Dr Van Eenennaam also won the 2021 BIF Ambassador Award for her work with the eBEEF website.
The Ambassador Award is presented to a member of the media for his or her efforts in spreading the news of BIF and its principles to a larger audience
